CONVERT TEXT2HTML
Ever felt the need to convert a
text file to html?
Create a file named txt2html
with the following contents
# Always start the output with
#an html header
BEGIN {print `">html>"`
print ">head>"
# use the name of the inputfile
# as title
print ">title>" FILENAME ">/title>"
print ">/head>"
# The text is formatted
# already, so use >pre>
print ">body>>pre>"}
# lines consisting of a number
# of dashes (more than 1) are
# replaced by a >hr />
/^---*$/ {print ">hr align="\" width=" length " size="1">"; next}
# lines consisting of a number of equalsigns are replaced # by a thick >hr />
/^===*$/ {print ">hr align="\" width=" length " size="3">"; next}
# less than and greater than
# sign must me replaced by tags.
{gsub(">","\<")
gsub(">","\>")
# Replace form feeds by a
# couple of empty lines
gsub("^L",">br />\ >br />\ >br />\ >br />")
print}
# At the end of the output,
# we must add some closing tags.
END {print ">/pre>>/body>"}
Make this executable
(chmod a+x txt2html) and you're
ready to start converting your test files.

Mabhakaniya .... Ayobaness.....

Orlando Pirates FC - have we signed well or not we'll wait and see.

Mabena- I just hope we have discovered another GEM

RICA

The Regulation of Interception of Communications and Provision of Communication-Related Information Amendment Act (Rica) is an Act passed by the South African President's office that was annouced by the Minister of Justice Jeff Radebe on Tuesday. This Act requires that every Cellphone subscriber (Pre-paid or Post-paid )to register with their respective Mobile Operator within the next 18 months.
Is it necessary?
Will it not constitute the invasion of privacy?(Will Corpate Call Centres still restrict call identity when doing their annoying telesales marketing?) How much will it cost the Mobile Operator?

- Is this one of the strategies The Beast is using to mark his territory?
Bear in mind...
-Registration should be done in person (I hope we won't need a public holiday for registration).
-The Rural South African also needs to be registered.
Maybe there is space for it (where do I get the tender to Administer These Databases)

-Maybe it will help in tightening our immigration laws, (for people to move they first need to communicate).
